Terms of service
Last updated: 4 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and ZORESET ("we", "us") covering your use of our website and asset-tracking service (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you are signing up for an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.
Your account
You must give accurate details and keep your password confidential. The person who creates an organisation is its owner and is responsible for the accounts they add and for what is done with them. Tell us promptly if you think an account has been compromised.
Plans, assets and payment
- Every organisation starts on a free plan, which has a limit on the number of assets you can track. Paid plans have a higher limit (or none) and a flat monthly price, or a quoted price for our largest plans, shown on our pricing section and in the app.
- Paid plans are billed by invoice, one calendar month at a time. We issue an invoice with our bank details and you pay it by bank transfer; the plan is active for the period the invoice covers.
- You can move to a larger plan at any time; the change takes effect immediately and we invoice the prorated difference for the rest of the period. Moving to a smaller plan, including back to free, takes effect when the current paid period ends, and is not possible while you track more assets than the smaller plan allows.
- If a paid period lapses without a new payment, your organisation drops to a read-only state: you can still view and export your data, but changes are blocked until the account is paid or moved to the free plan.
- Prices and plan limits may change. We will give notice before a change affects a plan you have already paid for, and changes never alter an invoice already issued.
Your data
You keep ownership of everything you put into the service. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to provide the service to you. You are responsible for having the right to record the information you add, including information about the people in your organisation. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data. You can export your records at any time, and ask us to delete them when you leave.
QR labels and scan reports
An asset's QR label opens a public page that anyone can use to report a sighting. That page shows the item's name and your organisation's name. Reports are only as reliable as the device and person that made them; location is approximate and offered voluntarily by the person scanning. Do not put sensitive information in an item's name.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the service unlawfully or to track people rather than assets without their knowledge; attempt to access another organisation's data or to bypass the service's security; upload malware or content you have no right to share; overload the service or interfere with others' use of it; or resell the service without our written agreement. We may suspend an account that breaks these rules.
Availability and support
We work to keep the service available and to fix problems quickly, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance, and we may change or retire features, giving reasonable notice of anything that materially affects you.
Ending your use
You can stop using the service at any time. The owner can ask us to close the organisation and delete its data. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, if invoices remain unpaid, or if we must do so by law, and we will say why where we can. Sections that by their nature should survive — such as those on payment owed, liability and ownership — continue after the agreement ends.
Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data you could have backed up by exporting it, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For changes that matter we will update the date above and notify organisation owners in advance. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept it.
